One address, and a human reads it: contact@ovyxa.com. Most things below you can do yourself in the app, faster than an email round trip.

If something hurts

Stop, and tell the app — the daily check-in has a pain flag. Raising it holds every dial: no set, no repetition and no kilogram is added that day, and the app may offer to ease or skip the session, waiting for your agreement. Nothing is ever made harder because you reported pain.

Ovyxa is not a medical device and cannot tell you whether an injury is serious. For that, see a doctor or a physiotherapist.

Common questions

The plan is not adapting

Adaptation needs input. Check that the daily check-in is answered, that sessions are logged after you do them, and — if you use it — that Apple Health sync is on in Settings and that iOS still grants Ovyxa read access in Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices. Revoking access in iOS does not tell the app; it just stops the data.

Check too that you have not left a proposal waiting: Ovyxa offers an easier day and waits for your answer — it changes nothing on its own.

Ovyxa says it cannot read Apple Health

Two separate permissions have to be in place: iOS must allow the read, and you must have turned the health-data consent on inside Ovyxa. Granting one does not grant the other, on purpose.

The free trial — when am I charged?

The trial runs 14 days and charges nothing. The first charge is at the end of the trial, unless you cancelled before — at least 24 hours before it ends, in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone. The app reminds you the trial is ending before it does.

I paid and the app still asks me to subscribe

Subscription status is confirmed by Apple and then by RevenueCat, which can take a few minutes. Open the app once more before writing in; the subscription screen has a "Restore purchases" button that forces the check. If it persists, email us with the date of purchase — never with a receipt screenshot containing your address.

My subscription ended. Have I lost anything?

No. A subscription that ends deletes nothing: your past sessions, your progress and your data stay viewable and exportable. What stops is the plan ahead and its adaptations. Subscribing again resumes the plan where it was.

I want my data but not to lose my account

Use Export in Settings. It does not delete anything.

How do I cancel a subscription?

Subscriptions are billed by Apple, so they are cancelled with Apple: on your iPhone, open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future billing; it does not delete your account or your data. Deleting your account does not cancel an Apple subscription either — do both if you want both.

Deleting my account — what actually happens?

You are asked to sign in with Apple again, so that nobody who picks up your unlocked phone can do it for you. The request then opens a 7-day window during which you can cancel it by signing in again; the app tells you the date. At its close, a nightly job erases your training data, goals, feedback and recovery measurements from the live database and revokes the Apple token.

Encrypted backups age out within 38 days and are never restored selectively — and if a restore ever happened, the erasures pronounced since are re-applied. A pseudonymous security record of the deletion itself is kept, without your account, because an audit trail a deletion could erase would not be one.

What exactly does the AI coach see?

A small summary, and never your database. The detail is in section 6 of the privacy policy, which lists what is sent and what never is. The AI coach is off until you turn it on.

Writing to us

contact@ovyxa.com. We answer data-rights requests within one month, as the GDPR requires, and normally much faster.

Please do not send health data, screenshots of measurements, or passwords by email. We do not need them to help, and email is not a place to keep them. If we need something specific we will say exactly what.
