Ovyxa builds and adapts a training plan for athletes who combine road running, trail and strength. These are the terms on which it is provided. The short version: it is a coach, not a clinician; you stay responsible for your own body; and your data stays yours.

Health and safety — read this one

Ovyxa is not a medical device and gives no medical advice. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition, and it cannot detect injury or illness. Its recovery readings are estimates from consumer sensors, not clinical measurements.

Consult a doctor before starting or substantially changing a training programme, particularly if you have a heart condition, are pregnant, are recovering from injury or illness, or have been advised to limit physical activity. Stop and seek medical attention if you experience chest pain, severe shortness of breath, fainting, or pain that is sharp, sudden or worsening. Do not wait for the app to tell you — it cannot.

Training carries inherent risk of injury. You accept that risk, and you remain responsible for judging what is safe for you on the day. A prescribed session is a suggestion, and you may always do less.

1. Who may use Ovyxa

You must be 16 or older. During setup the app asks you to confirm this, alongside the health statement above, and you cannot go further until you do. Confirming is a statement you are making, and it is recorded — that you confirmed, and when.

Your date of birth is not asked for and is not stored. The only question is whether you are old enough; a birthday would answer it while leaving behind an identifier nothing in Ovyxa reads. Ovyxa is not directed at children and accounts belonging to children are erased when found.

You need an Apple ID, because signing in uses Sign in with Apple and there is no password to create or lose. One account is for one person; do not share it.

2. What Ovyxa does, and what it does not

Ovyxa reads what you tell it about your training and — with your permission — a small number of recovery measurements from Apple Health, and produces a plan that changes in response. Every change is decided by deterministic rules, is recorded with the reasons behind it, and can be undone.

The plan proposes, you decide. When Ovyxa judges that a session should be eased or skipped, it offers that and waits for your agreement. Nothing is changed without you.

The AI coach explains; it does not decide. It is an artificial intelligence, and the app says so where you write to it. It cannot alter your schedule, override a safety rule, or produce a diagnosis. Its answers are generated automatically and can be inaccurate; they replace neither a coach nor a health professional. If it ever appears to decide for you, that is a defect — please report it.

Ovyxa does not promise a result. Performance depends on far more than a plan, and no training programme can guarantee a time, a placing, or freedom from injury.

3. Your account

4. Subscription, trial and payment

Ovyxa is a paid service. There is no permanent free tier. Discovering it — answering the questions and seeing the first week of plan they produce — is free and asks for no card. Beyond that, using the product requires a subscription.

A 14-day free trial is offered on both plans, once per Apple ID. It starts when you start the trial, and it gives exactly the same features as a paid month.

Plan Price Renews
Ovyxa Pro, monthly €19.99 per month, all taxes included every month, until cancelled
Ovyxa Pro, annual €119.99 per year, all taxes included every year, until cancelled

Those are the French storefront's prices. The price that binds you is the one the App Store shows in your country and currency at the moment of purchase; the app reads it from Apple and displays it before you confirm.

5. Withdrawal, refunds and mediation

The purchase is made with Apple, not with us: Apple takes the payment, issues the invoice and handles refund requests, under the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions you accepted by buying. We cannot refund in its place — but we will gladly help you ask.

Right of withdrawal. For digital content supplied immediately, the fourteen-day right of withdrawal under Article L. 221-18 of the French Consumer Code is exercised as Apple applies it as the seller, and Apple handles requests at reportaproblem.apple.com. Nothing written here reduces the rights the law gives you as a consumer.

Consumer mediation. [À COMPLÉTER — name, address and website of the consumer mediator joined, mandatory before the first sale (Article L. 612-1 of the French Consumer Code)]

6. What you agree not to do

7. Your data

Your training and health data remain yours. What is collected, why, and for how long is set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

You can export everything, and you can erase everything, from Settings, without asking anyone.

8. The licence on the app

The app is licensed to you, not sold. The licence is Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, except where these terms provide otherwise. It is personal, non-transferable, and limited to Apple devices that you own or control.

Apple is not a party to these terms and has no obligation to maintain or support the app. Any claim relating to the app comes to us: contact@ovyxa.com.

9. Availability

Ovyxa is provided as it is. We aim to keep it running and to keep your data safe, but we do not promise uninterrupted service: maintenance, provider outages and defects happen. Where the service is unavailable for a prolonged period on a paid plan, contact us.

10. Legal guarantees and liability

You have the legal guarantee of conformity under Articles L. 224-25-12 and following of the French Consumer Code for digital content and services, and the guarantee against hidden defects. Those guarantees apply independently of any commercial warranty.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited — and consumer rights under mandatory local law are unaffected by anything here.

Subject to that: Ovyxa is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost training time, for missed performance goals, or for injury arising from your decision to perform a session. Where liability can be limited, it is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim.

11. Changes to these terms

These terms carry the date they came into force. If they change materially, you will be told in the app before the change applies to you. Continuing to use Ovyxa after that is acceptance; if you do not accept, you can export your data, delete your account, and cancel the subscription with Apple.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law, and the service is operated from the European Union. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of your country of residence and may bring proceedings there.
